Again answer is more human resource.
Are we poor learners? No in fact were best learners with full ecosystem(family & society) supporting & respecting learning.
But how it comes that a country of 140 crores have to import 4.5 generation fighter planes from a country of 7 crore population like France? Why we cannot manufacture our own Technology fifth generation fighter plane and aviation planes?
What keeps us back? From my 31 years of learning and teaching experience I can firmly say that there are many obstacles, but the biggest one is colonization of mind. In Commonwealth countries minds are colonized post liberation from British rule.
Our minds are colonized. And Minds of everybody in Commonwealth countries is to some extent colonized. What I mean to say from the word colonized that "slavery", "mental" slavery which feels you are inferior and Britishers or West is superior. I will give you some examples- if two friends in college are having same mother tongue still they talk with each other in English, we bring dogs of foreign breeds even we talk with the dogs in English, if they wear torn jeans then we also wear torn jeans. If this a globalization we say globalization if they say liberalization we say liberalization, if they said human rights we also say Human Rights/ woman Rights, etc.
We don't know why we have to follow them, but their economic prosperity is undoubtedly an important factor. If something comes from west, then we accepted trend. If something is started new in India, we will always doubt.
By a long and through processes done by western powers now we people from commonwealth countries feels inferior than westerns subconsciously. This subconscious feeling creates a low confidence state that I say colonization. This process is unknowing to us happening inside weakens us Such that if four legs are given to us then also we will loose the race.
This is the effect of colonization. Colonization creates a deep sense of sense of inferiority complex and identity crisis. Most of the people do not know that this problem exists and it prevents them from performing freely with power.
After years of research on this I found it source, generation, progression and ways to control that. If you can decolonize your mind, then nobody is as powerful as you.
